I hand textured the blue wall and painted it bright turquise then used a brown glaze over it to give it a really cool kind of copper patina effect. The rest of the walls are the yellow color you can see above, which is a really cool Tuscan accent glaze that you paint on and scrape right before it dries. When you scrape it it makes these little white balls of paint burst, and it looks really neat. Chad loved the paint techniques they used in Mexico on our honeymoon, so this was my attempt at recreating it! Now if I could just talk him into getting that faucet installed!
Other than that we had an awesome Memorial Day Weekend with the family. I will have to get some pictures from you Rachel to post, I somehow managed to not take a single one!!! I also have a fun video on Mom's Flip Video of us all playing Ladderball. I will get those posted soon! Thank you to everyone for coming over and for helping make the party a success, even in the yucky weather!!! Especially to Rachel, and to Becca and Jami!!! It could not have happened without ya'll!!!!
Another project I am SUPER happy to be finished with and that I take a LOT of pride in is my garden!!! Here are the pictures I took of this area when we bought the house in October:

We had to do a LOTTTTT of trimming and tilling, but I am SUPER proud of it, and every single plant in the garden I got 1/2 off, so we didn't spend a fortune!!!! Papa said he was amazed at me because I was never an outside person growing up, to be honest I HATED being outside because there were bugs...or heaven forbid I might sweat! :) So when he came over with Mom and Zoey I think he was pretty amazed at what I had accomplished! Anyway, for those of you who couldn't be there this weekend, I hope to see you soon!

The bathroom is gorgeous. You did such a great job with the wall texture and the colors are perfect!
