Anyway, thought I'd share this funny pic of Chad on the lawnmower driving down our street! We were driving to Nanny's house (which is only a few blocks from ours) and we passed a garage sale with two riding lawnmowers, and of course had to stop and check it out! We ended up buying the Craftsman, and Chad decided it would be faster to drive it home than to go get a trailer and come back. So I drove behind him in is truck laughing and taking pictures of him (helpful I know :) ) I even put on the hazard lights!! LOL! So now we have a HUGE lawn mower that will make mowing the front yard a breeze...but is too big to even fit through the gate to the back yard! Needless to say I will think twice before I laugh at someone else driving their mower down the street! They might have gotten a really good deal! hahaha!
Here's my handsome husband:
And, my newest project is the 1/2 bath! I figure this will be the bathroom that people will use when we are all swimming because they can go through the garage to access it and not track water all through my house! So I better get it in shape! I decided the other evening to tear down the really bad wall paper and discovered.....WORSE wall paper!
WOW! Worse was the orange wallpaper was stuck to paneling with some kind of SUPER strength glue! So I used a texture paint product from valspar and now the wall is a pretty shade of grey-blue! I will get after pictures up before too long! I already have the light, and the towel bars, so hopefull I can get Chad to install the faucet!!!I have been trying to focus on the postivies lately (if I didn't I'd go crazy!) and one positive of being down to one job is that I will have more time to work on out house!!! So be ready for lots more before's and afters!!!

I can't believe you don't want to keep the orange stripey one! But I am very excited to see more progress!
Hey, I think I've seen some of that around my house too! Well, ours is floral, but the same awful colors. Did you float the walls or leave the paneling up? We've been taking all of ours down, but floating gets old fast! Y'all are doing some nice work - I can't wait to see it the 4th of July!
