Well, the people buying our house backed out over the weekend. Thier realtor said it was because they were first time buyers moving from an apartment and the expense of owning a house scared them. So we moved up our closing date on our new house for these people and our house hasn't shown in two weeks...FOR NOTHING!!! It was a complete waste of time! Can you tell I am a little irritated by the inconsideration of others? HOW RUDE!
On a happier note, work on the new house is coming right along. Mom and Chad and I went over last night and painted inside the pantry so it would be all fresh and clean, and also painted the ever so popular ponytail color in the kitchen area. I am telling you, you can't be in this family and not have Ponytail colored paint somewhere in your house!!! :)
We do officially close on Monday, but since our house is not sold we plan on only moving what we must have to get by at the new house. We want to leave the old house staged for as long as possible. And we will be so busy painting and working on the new house that we probly won't even notice!!!
On a side note, I started at Sears Methodist yesterday, there was a LOT of paper work and some boring orientation stuff, which I have to finish up today. I found out I will be in charge of all the billing for a Veterans Hospital in Big Spring. So I have a lot on my plate right away!!!! ...and a LOT to learn! But, it will all be worth it in the end!!
