The Newbe...

Okay, well my cousin Katie started one of these when she found out she was pregnant with their first baby, and I have really enjoyed keeping up with her and hearing her funny stories from day to day about pregnancy and life in general. So, although I am NOT pregnant, I thought that maybe this would be a good way to let friends and family know what is going on in the very newly married lives of Chad and I.
We are currently buying our first house together and are very, very excited about it. We had a house before, but Chad picked it out right before I met him, so I really didn't get to help with the choosing! We had really just started shopping around, and had only had our own house on the market for a WEEK, when we found the house we knew had to be ours. It is 1000 square feet bigger than our current house, so it will be a LOT more to maintain, but it has all the features we wanted in a house, and with a little cosmetic work, it will be the house of our dreams for so many years to come.
It has a great pool, and backyard that will be wonderful for entertaining, I didn't realize how much Chad and I enoyed having people over until that luxury was taken away from us for a while after our house fire. We want to have a house that is constantly filled with friends and family, and one day our own children and their friends as well. We are so blessed to be able to purchase this home, and are very excited to begin work on it and make it our own. The inspection is tomorrow, so cross your fingers!!!
