I can't believe you are 8 months old today!! It seems like you developed such a little personality over the past month. Your facial expressions are so funny and your ability to reach for who or what you want is adorable.
You really enjoy sitting up and playing with all of your toys and can sit for long periods of time without falling over. You aren't super interested in attempting to crawl, but you have managed to push yourself up on your arms and scoot backwards. You just cant seem to get those legs up underneath you! You try a couple of times and then usually decide rolling is much easier.
Your two bottom teeth are all the way through, but you still aren't a fan of more solid foods like puffs or yogurt bites. You prefer your baby food and milk, and make awful faces and try to push out anything more solid than that.
You were sleeping almost 12 hours a night before you got bronchilitis over Christmas break. Now you are back to thinking you need to eat in the middle of the night, so we are working hard to get you back on schedule. Your sleep just isn't as restful with the coughing and drainage, but we are hoping that will clear up soon! We are very grateful that you are a good napper though! You usually take a 2-3 hour nap in the morning, and sometimes another 1-2 hour one in the afternoon!!!
Payton, I know I have said it before, but you are truly such a blessing to our lives. We have had some VERY long nights these past couple of weeks, but Daddy and I wouldn't trade it for anything. We love every second of watching you grow and develop. You are such a happy and sweet baby, and coming home to you after a long day of work makes all my problems go away. Taking care of you and Daddy is my very favorite job, and I look forward to what this next month will bring!!
