Daddy and I were so excited when the rest of your cord fell off at 3 weeks, it meant it was time for your first real bath!!! We had been at Pop's lake house all weekend- so you definately needed it with all the sunscreen and bug spray wipes that we had lathered on you!!! I was nervous that we were going to have to rush through it because you were going to start screaming, but you LOVED it!!! You were a little unsure and apprehensive at first, but then you settled in and didn't shed a single tear! Grammy got you this great fish shaped cloth that is made to soak with the warm water and lay over you, it's perfect! It covers your chest and legs and keeps you warm while we wash the rest of you. So Daddy and I got to take our time giving you your first bath, and take lots of pictures while you just sat back and relaxed!

When it came time to rinse we were sure you were going to scream...but you surprised us yet again! I used the neat shower nozzle that's attached to your VERY COOL bathtub, and rinsed you right off. I even sprayed your head and let the water run down your face, and you weren't even phased!!! Of course right as we were pulling you out you decided to make your own fountain and peed into the water!!! It's a good thing your seat keeps you up out of the water a little or we would have had to start over!!!
I really enjoyed getting to snuggle you and keep you warm in your little towel when we took you out. You amaze me every day with how sweet and easy going you are. You get that from your Daddy!!!
We were so glad that bathtime can be a relaxing bedtime routine and not a stressful time. Looks like you are going to be our little water baby!!!
