Chad and I were so excited to leave the hospital after 5 long nights, and take our sweet little boy home. It was such a great feeling to hold our little bundle of joy and head to the car!!!

We didn't realize how much stuff we had!!! Not only did we have our stuff for the hospital stay, we had flowers, gifts Payton recieved, and his stuff as well. It was a glimpse into how much we would soon be hauling around with our new baby!

We were so grateful to my mom for all of her help while we were in the hospital. Her and Chad definately kept me sane. She was even having to run between floors at one point because Papa was admitted to his own room!!!

He stole my heart from day one!!!

Grammy got him all settled into his car seat for the very first time!!!:

All settled in the car and ready to go HOME:

Daddy carrying him in so we could give him the tour of his new home!!:

We showed Payton around and got me settled in. It was so hard because I couldn't pick him up!! I was so dependent on Chad and my mom for everything! I know your shyness goes out the window when you are pregnant and having a baby, but when you are having to have help taking a shower, changing clothes, and so much else when you get home, it just felt like it would never end! I was so grateful to my wonderful husband who really stepped up and helped me through that first week at home, I know it wasn't easy on him- but he really took such excellent care of me and of Payton. My mom was also able to come and help out for a few days so that Chad could have a much needed break!! We were grateful to have her, and I know she enjoyed getting some baby time in!!!
