Then Junk It painted them a cream color to match the crib, and added a shelf to the changing table, and I added great knobs from Hobby Lobby, and this was the result:
BIG difference huh? We are very pleased with how they turned out, and it was MUCH cheaper than going and buying new!!
Anyway, Rachel and I spent the majority of Sunday finishing the painting inside of the closet that Justin, Pops, and Chad had redone the previous day. So we were able to get to the fun part and start putting stuff away!! Here is what Payton's sweet little room looks like so far:
Here is his sweet crib that we found at Kids Village:
And the swing that we borrowed from his cousin Karsen!:
Speaking of cousins- we were glad to have Roo help organize all the clothes that Payton has already collected:
And you can't have all those clothes without shoes and hats to go with them!!:
All perfectly in place on the shelves that Daddy built!!It really was amazing to see it all come together. Somehow, even with my ever-growing belly, and the daily movements that I am blessed to feel, this made it even more real. To actually see his room come together, and be able to put things away...even though I know I am going to move everything from drawer to drawer to drawer until he arrives!
Payton, We are really going to be bringing you home in approximately 15 short weeks! We are going to be blessed with a son to cherish and to raise, and we are so utterly amazed by it. I can't wait to see your sweet little face and kiss those 10 tiny toes. We still have lots to do to prepare for your arrival though, so we'll be busy until you get here little man. Until then, Mommy hopes you keep up all those sweet little movements, they make my day and Daddy's too!!! We love you little one!!
