Texas Motor Speedway

Well, yesterday we headed to TX Motor Speedway with Mom, Papa, Tyler, and Jesse. It was a long day...but was a LOT of fun. The weather was perfect for it, it was overcast, so it wasn't too hot, and there was a nice breeze. Papa got us REALLY good tickets, so we were really close to the action, and thank goodness mom remembered ear plugs for everyone, it was LOUD!!! When we first got there ZZ Top was playing, which was really cool. So we can now say that we have experienced that!! Then Nascar had a very nice tribute to the families of those at Fort Hood who were killed last week in that horrible shooting. A Blackhawk Helicopter from Fort Hood flew the pace car in right in front of us!!! It was Amazing!!! Here's some pictures (the best I could get from my iPhone!!It was a very nice tribute and it was VERY cool to see!!! They landed and the pace car drove right out of the back!! And here's one of Mom rockin' her hat!!! It was a very good day, we left with about 60 laps left so that we wouldn't get stuck in the MASSIVE parking lot...or should I say parking field since everyone parks on grass!!! I am glad it wasn't raining!! I could just imagine everyone stuck in the mud!!

Other than that I was glad that the baby cooperated, and everything stayed down!!! Once we sat in the car for a while, and got out at a gas station on the way home I was in some pain though! I felt like I had a pulled muscle in my stomach, and there was a hard knot! I apparantly alarmed a very nice lady who happened to be a nurse for a baby dr, and she came over to check on me. She told me that after moving around all day the muscles had stretched, and then contracted again after sitting for so long. So when I stood up they were still tight and causing me pain. She then proceded to touch my stomach, until her husband walked up and asked her what she thought she was doing!! lol!!! He thought she had just randomly come up to me and was rubbing my tummy!!! We all laughed about it, but it is definately weird to have a stranger rubbing your belly!! So all in all it was a wonderful day spent with family, we will definately have to do it again some time!!
