A Busy Month

Well, the morning sickness is lessening, but there are still occasional mishaps... I think alot of it is my prenatal vitamins. They make a bubbling feeling in my stomach, almost like someone has dropped an alka-seltzer in there. The bubbly feeling makes it impossible to hold any food down, so I am researching other options. I can't possibly continue that for the rest of this pregnancy.

On a more exciting note, we are looking forward to our first Dr. appt next week. We are really excited to hear a heartbeat and to see the first pictures of our little one!! I have had lots of dreams that it is a boy, but we'll have to wait until December to find that out! December feels like it will never get here!!!

I am so blessed to have an amazing husband like Chad. He has been more than I ever could have imagined during this first trimester. He has taken over most of the housework, and even the laundry. Not only that, but he has graciously allowed me to take crazy amounts of naps. I just can't get enough sleep!!! I literally wake up in the morning and pry myself out of bed based on the fact that I know I am going to come home and crawl back into our cozy bed. I am glad we bought such a comfy bed...because I have been LIVING in it! Yesterday, I litterally spent 2 hours out of it. I know that I should treasure each and every moment of this pregnancy, and I do! But, I really can't wait for this yucky first trimester to be over and to find out whether it's a boy or a girl!!!

Last night Chad and I sat together and talked about plans for the nursery. I was surprised that he already had so many plans in his head. It was comforting that he has been thinking about this baby, and planning as much as I have. I can't wait to get started on our babies nursery and creating a wonderful home to bring our son or daughter home to!

It will pass before you know it! And I always took my prenatal vitamin at night before bed to avoid the issue with food. Give it a try. :)
