Cason's Birthday!!

Cason made his arrival on September 11, 2012. It was a repeat c-section and I'll admit I was terrified! My c-section with Payton was such a nightmare that I was scared to repeat it. This time around I knew what I was doing though, and made my wishes clear to every nurse I could get my hands on!
There were a LOT of babies being born that day, so we ended up spending an extra hour in pre-op, but lots of people came to visit and keep my mind off things.

Chad and I were very excited when it was time to get dressed and head back to the operating room. I was still scared, don't get me wrong- but I knew that at the end we'd be meeting our son!!

Here's my belly shot of Cason. I think it's the only one we took for the entire pregnancy!

The c-section went really well, it was complete different from the traumatizing one I had with Payton. The anesthesiologist was great, and the spinal went much better. Dr. Tadvick pulled Cason out and immediately commented on his large head size, I found that funny sine that's the first thing he said about Payton too! Cason had so much hair though, where Payton had only peach fuzz. I started crying when they showed him to me and told Chad how absolutely beautiful I thought he was. Then Chad got to go show him off to everyone while I finished up.

Payton was super excited to see his daddy and new brother on the other side of the glass!

Cason was born at 3:03 pm at 8 pounds 11 ounces, 20 1/2 inches long. Just perfect!!
