Big Brother's Room

Since Payton's furniture had to become Cason's furniture it was time to upgrade to a big brother room!! Luckily Payton made the transition from crib, to toddler bed, to twin bed so easily.

Here's his first night in his toddler bed back in April:
And here he is checking out his big twin sized bed:
We started out by painting over the green from his nursery:
He even did his best to help:
We came up with an orange accent wall, and aqua blue on the other 3 walls:
I painted him a super special canvas to hang above his bed:
It was all centered around a very special quilt made by his Grammy, she worked so hard on it and we will treasure it forever!

I still have to paint the bookshelf!
Payton is SO proud of his big boy room as does such a good job putting himself to sleep at nap time and at night. I know I say how blessed we are all the time, but I truly feel that way. Payton is such a sweet-natured and smart little boy who amazes us every day. He is going to be a great big brother to Cason, and we can't wait to watch our sweet boys grow up together.
