After running around like a crazy woman last year I swore I would never hold another birthday at our house.... And even at 4 months pregnant, we somehow talked ourselves into doing it again!! The prep-work began over a month in advance!
We talked my mom into heading to Rising Star with us on a Saturday morning to pick out plants for all our empty pots. Payton had a blast helping pick out all the plants.
He was such a sweet helper!
He put them all in the wagon so carefully!
He was so strong and helped pull the wagon when mommy and Grammy were worn out!
We also had to get the new play area ready for Payton's big present! We had to move a LOT of sand! Payton was once again- a super awesome helper!
Although I'm not sure Daddy's back thought so...
Payton even helped water the grass!
As his big day got closer and closer Payton was super excited as presents started to arrive!! He was SO excited when we would get home and find boxes on our porch! Here's his new outside table and chairs from Aunt Becca and Uncle Jami and Uncle Tyler!
He couldn't wait to get all the pieces out and put it together!
And he was SUPER excited when he got to see his big gift put together for the first time!!! A new swing set!!!
He went down the slide over and over!
Lots of aunts, uncles, and grandparents went in on this one with us. We were so grateful for that!
We managed to pull it all together by party day and I think everything turned out great. Here's my two favorite boys!!
