Poker Themed Diaper "Party"

Our wonderful friend, who we have adopted as family and lovingly call Pops aka Terry Huskey threw us an awesome diaper party this past weekend. He was always quick to correct me then I called it a shower...men apparently do not throw showers for other men... :) lol We cooked out burgers, hot dogs, and ribs. Becca and Jami also brought over some pretty amazing beans that recieved rave reviews!!

Anyway, the way the diaper party worked was that everyone had to bring a package of diapers in addition to their buy-in. We got all sizes, (someone even brought us a HUGE pack of size 5!!! :\) It was so fun to see them stack up, and wonder exactly how long....or not so long they will actually last us!!! Here was out stash at the end of the night:

And Andy made us the vinyl wall quote that I had picked out for the nursery, as soon as I found this quote I knew it was perfect! Thank you Andy for making and putting it up, I NEVER would have gotten it on there straight!!

We were so blessed to have so many family and friends come and share in a fun night together. Here are the poker players:

It was a very long night, and luckily I was able to sneak off and go to bed, poor Chad had to stay up and entertain until the wee hours of the morning:
And here are all Payton's diapers stacked in the nursery, won't be long until we are putting them to use! We were also blessed by my parents and brother and Zoey being there, they just snuck out before we remembered to take any pictures!!! SO a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came and shared such a fun night with us, and thank you to Pops for throwing us such a great "party"!!!!
