Easter at Nanny's

We had a fun Easter Day at Nanny's house. I must say I think you were the most stylish little man there!!!


The Easter Bunny even stopped by!!! I was worried you'd be scared, but you went right up to him and were happy to sit in his lap!!


We tried really hard to get a picture of all the cousins with the Easter Bunny, but getting everyone to sit still and look at the camera was IMPOSSIBLE! :)


You had such a fun day and enjoyed loving on everyone.


It was so fun to share all the Easter festivities with you this year. It's crazy to think that last Easter I was HUGELY pregnant with you and this Easter you are crawling around and gathering your own eggs!!! We love you more than you know sweet baby and we are so blessed each and every day by you.



After all the egg hunting Gran was so sweet to push you in the swing. You must have been tired from all your egg gathering because you were fast asleep within minutes!! Love those chubby baby cheeks!!!


Not long after you fell asleep we had to whisk you inside because it started to hail! It started out small, but it looked like it might get worse.


So since we only live a few blocks from Nanny we decided to risk it to get home and get Mommy's car in the garage. It was a good thing because the small hail turned into GIGANTIC hail.





It was our first time to EVER see hail that big, and it was SCARY!! It was so incredibly loud, we just stood there and watched it in awe. We were also under a tornado warning so we were prepared to jump in the closet with you and the dogs at any moment. Luckily the tornado never showed, but the hail did major damage all over town. People got their windows busted out, and it seems like everyone we know is getting a new roof. So not only was it a memorable day because it was your first Easter, but it was also the worst hail storm that Abilene has had in a very long time. Definitely an Easter we won't forget!!!!
