Little man, I can hardly believe that another month has passed. You amaze us daily as you explore everything you can get your hands on. You are constantly on the move- crawling, pulling up on things, and even taking steps as you hold on to furniture! You are so strong and so smart!
You LOVE Duke and chase him everywhere. You know exactly what toys are his and you hold them above your head and wave them triumphantly when you are quick enough to get your hands on them. Duke is so patient with you and let's you love on him and pat him.
You still sleep wonderfully! In fact, I don't even remember the last time we had to get up with you! (knock on wood) You have even started putting yourself to sleep. I miss rocking you and snuggling, but it is nice to have a big boy that is able to lay down and go to sleep without a single tear!! You've also learned how to get us in you're room quicker when your awake and ready to get up- you snatch the video monitor camera and pull it into the crib with you, or you just throw it overboard! Then you watch the door for us to come running!! :) Time to find the wall-mount bracket that came with it!
You have been completely on table food for a few weeks now and have done GREAT!!! You LOVE Daddy's quesadillas and pork loin, and always enjoy a treat of fresh strawberries. It's so much fun to cook and be able to share it with you. It makes us think so much more about making healthy eating choices and reading ingredient labels!
You're favorite word is Duke, you say it all day long! You are waving bye-bye, high fiving, and dancing. We always jump up and grab you to do the hot-dog dance at the end of every Mickey Mouse episode and you bob your head and wiggle from side to side. It's pretty adorable!!
We have been working on details for your birthday party- Mickey Mouse themed of course!!! It is so hard to believe that you will be 1 in a month!!! Mommy is a total over-achiever and I am spending time on even little tiny details, but it's your FIRST birthday and it has to be perfect!!!
We can't wait to see what your 11th month will bring and what milestones and accomplishments you will surprise us with next. We love and cherish you so much and can't imagine a sweeter more perfect little boy than the one we were blessed with.
